At least night's meeting, BGC VP Vicki Rodia distributed information about the invasive and destructive Lycorma delicatura, or spotted lanternfly, and asked us to be on the lookout here in Pennsylvania, where the Asian insect has become established .
Here is information from Penn State Extension to assist you in identifying and reporting this non-native pest, with the goal of restricting its movement and eliminating it from the Commonwealth.
