Blackridge Garden Club volunteers maintain and beautify our distinctive Blackridge entrance corners and the grounds surrounding the Blackridge Civic Association clubhouse. Your patronage of the Bloomin’ Corners Benefit helps to finance these efforts, and helps support local BGC educational and environmental service projects, including those for the BCA and the Blackridge Swim Club.
If you are one of the many long-time Bloomin’ Corners benefactors, we thank you and hope you will contribute again this year. If you are new, we hope you will join your neighbors this year. Everyone is welcome! Please do not hesitate to attend if you are coming alone or as part of a group. This is the perfect event to mingle!
1. Please buy the enclosed raffle tickets that were mailed to you whether you are able to attend or not. Complete and send to Tara Taylor, 2628 Orlando Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15235 in the envelope provided. You don’t have to be present to win.
2. Join us Friday, March 14, 2014 for “Night-Bloomin’ Corners.”
This year we’re celebrating Blackridge and night gardens, or moon gardens, at the popular evening cocktail party and tapas buffet. As always, the event will take place at the historic and beautiful Longue Vue Club, Verona, PA. Dress is cocktail attire, and denim is prohibited at Longue Vue.
Reservations are $42.00 per person, an eight dollar reduction from last year’s price. Singles, couples, and groups of friends are welcome.
Each guest will receive two cocktail tickets. Soda, coffee, and tea are complimentary. Our party will have lots of variety at the tapas-style stations featuring starters, salads, pastas, breads, meats, and desserts!
7:00 – 10:00 PM: music, chance auctions & raffle, cocktails & buffet, and moon garden display.

Please Note: You can choose which raffle prize drawing you would like to enter. Please indicate on each ticket which prize you would like to win—one choice per ticket. Tickets are one for $5.00 or six for $25.00.
· Vacation package for two adults for two days at Longwood Gardens, one of the country’s premier botanical gardens, with accommodations for two nights at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn, Kennett Square, PA. WINNER: DAVID KISSELL of BLACKRIDGE RD.
