Hi members!


As in years past, we are offering a raffle prize that is entirely sponsored by your generous donations.  The raffle prize is the Drink and Dine raffle.

Originally we had a Booze basket at our benefits and we asked the membership for donations of alcohol and with any cash we filled in around the donations.  In the last 2 years we asked for cash donations only and then Adrienne used the money for a gift card to the state store.  We changed it because we felt it was difficult for the winner to schlep all that booze home. Additionally, the winners probably won a lot of booze that they did not prefer.

We have again modified this raffle prize!  This year is it called the Drink and Dine prize and instead of one large gift card to the state store, we will split the money among 3 gift cards:  state store, beer store and a fine dining restaurant on Mt Washington, Altius. 
 
If all the members donate $10-$15 each then we can create this awesome raffle prize!!  In the past, Adrienne lead the drive for asking and collecting money for this raffle.  I imagine she did so while walking the neighborhood with her dog!!  In order to make it easy for you to contribute we have several fellow members to whom you can drop off the money/check (make out to Blackridge Garden Club).....Vicki Rodia, Tara Taylor, Diane Law, Judy Diorio and me, of course.  If you are busy or can't get out, please contact any of us to pick up your contribution.  PLEASE donate no later than Monday March 8th.  That will give us a day or two to purchase the gift cards OR call to ask for your donations!
